We’re looking for Senior Data Analyst to join our Logistics Platform in Oda!

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of a visionary Product & Tech organization, working alongside software engineers, UX designers, product managers, data scientists, and data engineers. Together, we build high-impact data products and algorithms that enhance our logistics, shop and customer growth capabilities. Our mission is to enable automation, insight-based decision-making, and a data-driven culture across the entire value chain.

Our Logistics teams are dedicated to creating the most efficient and customer-friendly supply chain, including warehouse operations and distribution logistics.  We develop systems for procurement, inventory, picking, dispatch, operations management, route planning and customer delivery. To do this we utilize a combination of automated hardware, custom software, and large-scale data analytics.

In this role, you will work with complex business challenges, engage with multiple stakeholders, and collaborate with other disciplines as needed. Your contributions will be instrumental in making Oda a truly data-driven organization.

This role is based at our Oslo office at Tøyen, so you need to live in Oslo or nearby for this role. 

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Data Analyst

• Lead and execute analytics projects within our logistics platform, from defining the problem to delivering measurable results.
• Take on lead roles within the team or task forces when needed.
• Work with ambiguous business problems, structuring analyses with input from multiple stakeholders to drive impact in an effective way.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and operations teams to identify and solve logistics challenges.
• Observe and analyze our logistics operations on-site, identifying opportunities for process or tool improvements and developing actionable recommendations.
• Drive best practices in data analysis, visualization, and data modeling, ensuring that the company maintains high analytical standards.

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟

• Extensive experience as a Data Analyst (or similar role), preferably in a cross-functional product and technology team.
• Higher education with a focus on quantitative methods, preferably in statistics, technology, business and/or optimization.
• Strong experience in statistics and SQL, as well as at least some experience with programming (e.g., Python)
• Experience in building dashboards and data products, applying innovative techniques to address business challenges and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience in supporting and collaborating with non-data stakeholders, guiding them through analytical challenges and assisting in improving their data visualizations.
• Experience within warehouse operations or last mile distribution is an advantage.
• English is our working language, but for this role it’s a plus if you also know some Norwegian or Swedish.
