We’re looking for a Data Analyst for our Finance team to join Oda!

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of Data and Finance, making sure we have accurate, scalable, and insightful models and reports to guide decisions across Oda. You’ll be part of our Data & Insight Platform team, working alongside three Data Engineers, while collaborating closely with the Finance team on a daily basis. This means supporting key projects and developing the data foundation for profitability, revenue, and efficiency insights.

You’ll be stepping into an important area with well-established systems and data flows. This isn’t about starting from scratch, but more about building on a strong foundation. You’ll take full ownership of this space, improving our data pipelines and fine-tuning our data models.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you’ll be the go-to data expert for our Finance team. You’ll own the data, shape it, and make it actionable. Specifically, you’ll:

• Build and maintain data models in dbt, Snowflake, and Looker that power financial insights across Oda.

• Own and ensure quality of key operational data (time tracking, sick leave, warehouse, and delivery hours), essential for efficiency reporting and supporting current and new Oda operations.

• Partner closely with the Finance team to provide accurate, scalable data for profitability and revenue analysis. You’ll be their trusted resource for troubleshooting and making sure they have the insights and data products they need to make key decisions.

To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy digging into details and working behind the scenes. You’re comfortable building pipelines and data models, and either already have a solid understanding of the finance domain or are eager to learn it quickly. You explain things clearly and always look for smarter, more efficient ways to get things done.

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟

• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar.

• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and creating robust, scalable data products.

• Higher education in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, engineering, or technology.

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain data clearly to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.

What would be nice to have 💡

• Great if you’ve got experience with our core tools; dbt, Github, Snowflake and Looker, and are familiar with programming languages like Python.

• It’s a bonus if you are curious and interested in how logistics and warehouse data connect with financial performance.
