We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our Oda Norway team!
As a Procurement Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our local operation and commercial department, owning and enhancing the data of our procurement parameters within RELEX Forecast and Replenishment. This covers everything from refining machine learning–based product forecasts in collaboration with the Global Sourcing Development team and its Swedish counterpart, to defining and improving safety stock models, optimizing batch sizes, and managing the local flow of incoming goods.
Your work will directly drive improvements in procurement efficiency, product availability, waste reduction, and operational efficiency in our incoming departments. You'll be the crucial link between our data and insight teams, Procurement Manager, Procurement Specialists and operations teams, ensuring seamless alignment and execution.
What you’ll do
Becoming Oda Norway's Relex super user - troubleshooting, identifying and suggesting potential improvements proactively.
Focussing on seasonal planning, product group forecasting and monitor of inventory levels.
Collaborating closely with the global Sourcing Development team to further develop the RELEX system and procurement processes, representing the Norwegian procurement team's needs.
Actively participating in cross-functional development with other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and efficiency across departments.
Spending up to two days monthly collaborating directly with our logistics operation to get ground-level insights.
Taking part in the Relex community with other companies working in Relex for learning and sharing experiences.
Who you are
You enjoy creating business cases and communicating complex technical solutions with tech from a business perspective.
You have experience from working with procurement/supply chain/replenishment.
You are analytical and used to read SQL code.
You have a strong sense of ownership to the business and are able to work independently within the scope.
You are solution-oriented, proactive, quick and a lifelong learner with a growth mindset that enjoys sharing learnings with your colleagues.
You are a highly structured and articulated person ensuring that tasks and projects are completed with priorities.
You speak and write fluently in both English and a Scandinavian language.
What would be nice to have 💡
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical issues into clear insights for business stakeholders.
Willingness to take ownership of complex system-related challenges and make tough decisions.
Good technical troubleshooting skills.
3+ years of relevant working experience.
A bonus if you have experience using Relex and business rules.
