We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join Oda!

At Oda, we’re on a mission to build the world’s most effective online grocery system. Now, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Logistics team and help shape the technology behind our world-class logistics operation.

You’ll be part of the team that powers a logistics setup serving thousands of customers across two countries. Together with engineers, product managers and other specialists, you’ll build robust, scalable solutions that make a real difference to how groceries move from our warehouses to customers’ doors.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of larger projects and initiatives within and across teams. You’ll help define technical direction, make thoughtful architectural decisions, and create an environment where others can do their best work.

What you’ll be doing as a Software Engineer

• Take ownership of larger initiatives from idea to production

• Design, build and operate scalable software together with your team

• Make technical and architectural decisions that improve reliability, security and performance

• Write robust, maintainable code and contribute to coding standards and best practices

• Guide other engineers through feedback, code reviews and technical sparring

• Solve complex problems across systems and connect technical work to business value

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟

• Experience building and operating production-ready software

• Confidence taking technical initiatives and making architectural decisions

• Strong coding skills across one or more languages and technologies

• Experience with modern engineering practices like testing, code reviews and DevOps

• Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
